The Memorial for Holocaust victims was desecrated in Ternopil. This was reported by the head of Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky in Facebook.

“Holocaust victims Memorial was desecrated in Ternopil. It is written in three languages that memorial is built the memory of the holy Martyrs Jews that were ruthlessly killed and buried on this side by the Nazi murderers.

Over 100 thousand Jews were killed in Ternopil and its vicinity by the Nazi and Ukrainian Auxiliary Police during bashing and executions,” Dolinsky wrote.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian and Polish memorials in Kyiv region desecrated by vandals. The incident took place in Bykivnia, Kyiv region, where victims of NKVD, the Soviet secret police, are buried in the common grave.
