The meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Joe Biden has been postponed until September 1. This was reported by the Voice of America with reference to the White House.
The date of Zelensky's reception at the White House has been postponed for the second time.
Initially, the meeting of the presidents was to take place on August 30. However, the plans were subsequently changed and the meeting was postponed to August 31st.
Today it became known that the meeting will take place on September 1.
This might be due to the fact that Biden wants to devote time to the Afghan issue, since August 31 is the last day of the evacuation of Americans from this country.
Earlier it was reported that during Zelensky's visit to the United States, it is planned to sign projects of three bilateral documents on defense partnerships, as well as projects in the field of research, development, testing, evaluation, and cooperation in the space sector.
