Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of political council of the Opposition platform – For Life party, stated that his political force might cooperate with Volodymyr Zelensky only if he states for peace in Donbas and against tariff genocide, as 112 Ukraine reported.
“When I gave the interview for Financial Times, I definitely clearly answered the question that if Mr. Zelensky becomes a president and tries to establish peace and develop economy; I stated that if we see the real actions of Mr. Zelensky in peace issues and formation of economy, we will support such actions of Mr. Zelensky. I confirm it today. If such his actions, after his election as a president takes place, our party will support it, if it corresponds to the things, which are the program of our party that provides the peace plan on the settlement in Donbas and other issues of the changing of the situation in our state,” he said.

“Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin didn’t tell me at our last meeting that he supports Zelensky or is against Poroshenko. He said we will work with whoever is elected. But it depends on who is elected and what views they have,” he said.
