The Servant of the People Party is trying to hush up the recent sex scandal with the Servant of the People Party’s MP Bohdan Yaremenko, and this is amoral. The Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform - For Life Party and MP Viktor Medvedchuk said this in conversation with reporters on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.

“The fact that they are trying to hush up this scandal with Mr. Yaremenko, a unique MP and unique committee chairman that made the parliament notorious throughout the country, and, I think, not only in our country, and it is, of course, minus of the Servants of the People fraction. Because what does it mean they are looking for a replacement? What does it mean that they cannot make this decision? A person can be removed from the leadership of the committee, the first deputy chairman of the committee van take over these duties, and if there is already such difficulty in finding a person who could replace Mr. Yaremenko, then solve this issue after,” he said.

“Do you remember when this scandal erupted? It seems to have been November. Today we are already in mid-January. And things are unchanged. It proves one thing: they are trying to hush up the scandal, they are trying to leave this person, so they are not only doing amoral acts in relation to power, in relation to parliament, but also first of all in relation to themselves. Naturally, this cannot go on,” the MP said.
