Viktor Medvedchuk, Ukraine's MP and chairman of the political council of “Opposition Platform - For Life” political party commented on the possible appointment of a new Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, talking to the journalists on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.
"My attitude to Dmytro Kuleba is exactly the same as to Mr. Prystaiko. Taking into account his position on foreign policy, and he had the opportunity to demonstrate it under Mr. Poroshenko and under the new government, Mr. Kuleba's appointment promises nothing new, unless the course is changed. Also, I repeat, the political course, including in foreign policy, according to the Constitution, depends on the president of the country. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs implements foreign policy, and therefore if this course does not change, then Kuleba expects the same role, the same fate and the same consequences as that Minister whom is hard to call a Minister of Foreign Affairs and for whom, I believe, the resignation decision will be taken today," Medvedchuk said.
"They need to fall into oblivion and give the way for other people who, once again, can make the situation better, but only if the course is changed," Ukraine's MP added.
As we reported earlier, The Сhairman of the Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life Party and MP Viktor Medvedchuk stated that it is necessary to observe the norms of the Constitution and the Land Code, providing the people with land plots and the right to own it, and then talk about its sale.
