The International Monetary Fund is not interested in Normandy format, they need the land sale, extensive privatization. Chairman of the Political Council of Opposition Platform - For Life Party, MP Viktor Medvedchuk said this in the interview for 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, Zik and Inter TV channels.

“It seems to me, for some reason that IMF thinks in different categories. They are not interested in Paris or Normandy. Because today, they are interested in budget, and they adopted it. They are interested in land and they (not our people) need to accomplish this. To adopt several laws, including those under consideration, to hold privatization of state enterprises: sell those working and filling budget incomes. Those are the IMF interests,” he said.

“In the case of Normandy format, it is common interest. The closer peace is, the closer hostilities cessation is, the better for everyone and for IMF, I think, it is so too,” the MP added.
