Viktor Medvedchuk, the Head of the Political Council of the “Opposition platform – For life” does not exclude that the current government headed by Volodymyr Groysman will resign after the presidential elections as 112 Ukraine reported.

“If I were the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Volodymyr Groysman, I would not calm down myself with the expectation that he should resign after the selection of the new Verkhovna Rada. Because when the new president will come, whoever he or she is, the coalition, the situation in a country, the parliament may change as well as the situation with the Cabinet of Ministers,” he said during the “Big Interview” show.

Medvedchuk noted that it is possible to dissolve the current government very quickly, in one-two days. “It depends on the organizational skills, influence and authority of the person, who will win at the elections. Whoever he or she is, the current president or a new candidate, who pretends and really can win, the situation can occur, when the Cabinet of Ministers will resign. A new coalition, 226 votes are needed for it. It cannot be excluded. According to my experience and my knowledge in this sphere, it can really happen. We will see whether it takes place. But such a possibility cannot be excluded,” the politician added.

Earlier, Medvedchuk noted that Ukrainians are wise people and maintain friendly, good-neighborly relations with the Russians.
