State-run enterprise Medical Procurements of Ukraine (MPU) claimed that the Ministry of Healthcare has been blocking its work. The statement appeared on the MPU's website.
The MPU stated that the Ministry did not provide any funding for the company since the beginning of the year, and it failed to approve the temporary plan of the use of budget funds in 2021. That means that the enterprise cannot accept or deliver goods.
"This concerns drugs and devices purchased under the state programs of Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry. These include such directions as chilldren and adult oncology, children and adult hemophilia, multiple sclerosis, drugs for treatment of respiratory dysfunctions in newborn babies, etc. It also relates to procurement of individual protection and goods purchased for combating Covid-19, including protection suits and gowns, medical masks, express tests for detecting anti-gene of SARS-CoV-2 and medications", reads the message.
Medical Procurements of Ukraine ask the Cabinet and the Ministry to immediately approve the documents that provide operational activity of the enterprise.
