It is a good time for the United States to go into the offensive in the ongoing information war against Russia. John McCain, the U.S. Senator from the Republicans, wrote this in his autobiographic book, which is due to be released in May 22 - as quoted by DefenceNews.
“I’m of the opinion that unless [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is made to regret his decision he will return to the scene of the crime again and again,” reads the excerpt from the book.
McCain added that Washington possesses huge cyber arsenal, which 'should be used to expose the epic scale of his regime’s corruption or to embarrass [Putin] in other ways'.
As is known, the investigation found out that Russian hackers interfered in the course of the presidential race in 2016.
