British Prime Minister Theresa May said she did not agree with the immigration policies of US President Donald Trump. It was reported by Reuters.

Press secretary of Theresa May said: "Immigration policy in the United States is a matter for the government of the United States, just the same as immigration policy for this country should be set by our government."

"But we do not agree with this kind of approach and it is not one we will be taking. We are studying this new executive order to see what it means and what the legal effects are, and in particular what the consequences are for UK nationals,” spokesman added.

Earlier it was reported that in the last days Donald Trump signed three decrees envisaging stricter immigration policy. On Friday, January 27, Trump signed a decree on suspension of refugee-hosting program in the US for 120 days, after which, during the year the government would allow no more than 50 thousand refugees to enter the US.
