Theresa May, the British Premier refused from the trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. She apparently made the decision due to the complicated situation in the UK, amidst the Parliament's negative vote on the Brexit.

'The prime minister will not attend the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos next week. Downing Street said "she’ll be focused on matters here", BBC's political correspondent Chris Mason reported.

May, at the time, was negotiating with Britain's political forces on the said issue.

The British delegation will be led by one of the Cabinet's ministers.

Earlier, U.S. leader Donald Trump said he would cancel the visit to Davos, too - amidst the conflict with the Democrats over the construction of the wall on the US-Mexico border. French President Emmanuel Macron refused from visiting Davos as well, referring to the tough working schedule.
