Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada appointed Maksym Stepanov as the new Minister of Health. 246 MPs voted for this appointment.

“To appoint Maksym Stepanov to the post of Minister of Health of Ukraine,” the text of the resolution says.

At the previous meeting, the Rada did not support Stepanov’s candidacy for this position.

As we reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada has accepted the resignation of Oleksiy Honcharuk from the post of Prime Minister and his government. 353 MPs voted "for" the corresponding draft resolution No. 3158 on March 4 and appointed Denys Shmygal.

The same day, on March 4, a heart surgeon and Honored Doctor of Ukraine Ilya Yemets replaced Zoryana Skaletska at the position of Minister of Health of Ukraine.

Today, on March 30, the Ukrainian parliament dismissed Healthcare Minister Yemets.
