The mask regime can be extended until the end of the year if seasonality does not affect the spread of coronavirus infection. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, reports RBC-Ukraine.

However, the Ministry of Health still counts on the fact that the seasonality will influence the coronavirus and that the mask regime will be extended the maximum until the end of summer.

“If the number of cases goes down, improves, then maybe we won’t wear masks all summer, but quit quickly enough. We’ll also open kindergartens. If we see that seasonality does not affect the spread of infection, then it will be more difficult. Then we will balance on these 350-500 cases, and the mask will become an integral friend of us until the end of this year," said Viktor Lyashko.

He added that masks with antiseptics and social distance will have to live until the quarantine ends. It is also known that on May 22 the government will review the next phase of quarantine exit.

We recall that the Cabinet of Ministers extended quarantine until May 22. However, on May 11, Ukraine will begin the first phase of quarantine exit, as a result of which it is allowed to visit parks, squares, beauty salons, dental offices, clothing stores, as well as summer areas of cafes and restaurants.
