Many political parties in Ukraine talk about peace but do not propose anything particular. This was stated by Dr. Maximilian Krah, member of the European Parliament from Germany from the Alternative for Germany Party after the presentation of the peace plan by the Chairman of the Opposition Platform - For Life Party Viktor Medvedchuk in Strasbourg.

“What I heard from various political parties in Ukraine - they talk about peace, but they do not propose anything particular, they never had a realistic plan,” Krah said.

MEP also believes that many politicians are interested that the war lasts because they are profiting from it.

“That is why it seems to us that many politicians are interested that the war lasts, and they could benefit from this war. Yet, a part of Ukraine is occupied and the peace seems like a kind of compromise and it means that it can ruin certain illusions,” Krah said.

As it was reported earlier, on January 29, Viktor Medvedchuk presented the plan on the settlement of Donbas Conflict during the congress of Opposition platform – For life. This plan completely meets the Minsk Agreements confirmed by the heads of Normandy Four (Ukraine, Russia, France, and Germany), UNSC Resolution and current Constitution of Ukraine.
