Ex-fighter of Berkut riot police Serhiy Tamtura, one of those charged with the murder of Euromaidan protesters in Kyiv in 2014, had his restriction measure softened. The respective court decision foresees that Tamtura's round-the-clock arrest will be changed to night-time arrest from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Hromadske reported that on Thursday evening.
The ex-Berkut agent has been held in detention since July 2015.
As is known, Serhiy Tamtura is among those Berkut agents accused of gunning down the unarmed protesters during the 2014 Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv. The snipers killed 47 people and wounded another 80.
The crimes committed during the Revolution of Dignity are conditionally joined in one "big case of Maidan", with 89 proceedings underway.
