Macron to visit Moscow on 75th anniversary, - French MFA

President of France Emmanuel Macron will participate in the events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory Day, which will take place in Moscow in May next year. French MFA Head Jean-Yves Le Drian said that at the beginning of the negotiations with his Russian counterpart Serhiy Lavrov, as Interfax-Ukraine News Agency reports.

"A number of events is planned... The 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, a day on which Macron will visit Moscow," Le Drian stated.

According to assistant of the President of the Russian Federation Yuriy Ushakov, about 17 foreign leaders confirmed their participation in memorable actions in Moscow on May 9, 2020. State leaders of India, Cuba, France, Chezсh Republic, Venezuela, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, and Serbia. 

Earlier, the French President said on the air of the Russian First Channel that he would arrive on Victory Day in Russia in 2020

“Yes, I will be there. Putin invited me and I will come,” said Macron.
