President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron may visit Ukraine until the end of this year. This was stated by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic Jean-Yves Le Drian during a joint press conference, which was broadcasted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on its Facebook page.
“We are looking forward to a new stage of cooperation - the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Ukraine. Minister Le Drian today confirmed the intention of President Macron to make such a visit, which will become symbolic and significant for our bilateral relations,” Kuleba said.
In turn, the French representative noted that he also shares the hope for an early arrival of Macron to Kyiv - by the end of this year.
There have been talks about Emmanuel Macron's visit to Ukraine since last year. So, this was discussed at a meeting in Paris by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and foreign policy adviser to the President of France Emmanuel Bonn.
