Emmanuel Macron, the President of France calls on the European partners to strengthen their cooperation for security and exchange of the intelligence data after the terrorist act in Manchester. Macron claimed this during the NATO summit in Brussels according to Reuters.
‘It is obvious that besides solidarity we need to strengthen for intelligence, data exchange and defense of the common borders’, he noted.
Macron also emphasized that Europe should protect the workers from the consequences of the globalization and also to strengthen the efforts to obstruct the terrorist attacks in the future.
The summit of the leaders of NATO countries takes place in Brussels on May 25. Donald Trump, the President of the USA and Emmanuel Macron, the President of France take part in the summit for the first time.
The explosion took place in Manchester after the concert of American singer Ariana Grande on May 22. The police consider this as the terroristic action. According to the last data, about 22 people died and almost 120 get injured. Islamic State took charge for the incident.
