Lyashko collects signatures on non-constitutional dissolution of parliament

Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko intends to initiate the collecting of signatures of the MPs at the appeal to the Constitution Court against the order of President Volodymyr Zelensky on the dissolution of the parliament. Lyashko called the order of Zelensky “unconstitutional, illegal and capricious” as he reported on Facebook.

According to Lyashko, Zelensky acts just like ex-president Viktor Yanukovych in 2010.

“Zelensky acts just like Yanukovych, who changed the Constitution through corrupted judges in 2010,” Lyashko wrote.

The MP expressed the conviction that “the systematic violations of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine by President Zelensky threatens with the destabilization of the state and governed chaos”.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky officially dissolved the Verkhovna Rada and appointed the snap elections for July 21. The Cabinet of Ministers should provide the financing of the elections.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andry Paruby issued the order, according to which the extraordinary session of the parliament is appointed for May 22 at 12:00 p.m.

Head of the Administration of President Andry Bohdan stated that the decision on the dissolution of the parliament corresponds the Constitution.
