President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated to Russian PM Mikhail Mishustin that the Belarusian special services intercepted the talk of Berlin and Warsaw about the poisoning of Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny as BelTa reported.

According to him, the military intelligence intercepted the talk before the speech of German Chancellor Angela Merkel about the poisoning of Navalny.

“It is our understanding that Warsaw talks with Berlin. Two subscribers are in touch. We intercepted the interesting talk, which I will give you to read; we will prepare it and send it to FSB. They clearly say that is a falsification. No poisoning of Navalny took place,” Lukashenko said.

He believes that in such a situation, the heads of the Russian special services should seriously look into the situation and stated that he would pass them all materials.

“They did it to – quote: ‘To discourage Putin from interfering in affairs of Belarus.’ I quoted this talk,” Lukashenko stated.

He also said that the West supposedly wanted to ‘put nasty trick’ before the elections in the Russian regions.

On August 20, Russian opposition politician Alexei Navalny was urgently hospitalized during his return to Moscow from Tomsk. He felt bad during the flight and the plane was urgently landed in Omsk. Alexei Navalny was put on a ventilator. He regains consciousness. The preliminary diagnosis is poisoning with the psycholytic drug. Currently, Alexei Navalny is in a coma. Later, the doctors reported that Navalny was not poisoned. The head physician claimed that his metabolism has been impaired.
