Press-service of Belarus President

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed to replace the reduced supplies of Russian oil with its alternatives.  On this the Head of State said on January 20, talking with Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko, according to BELTA.

"We agreed that in the near future you will inform me about the situation in the oil and gas sector of the country, especially with regard to Russian behavior. According to previously concluded our agreements what is the situation?

We do not hide anything from people. It is not necessary to conceal, I think. There is no disaster, but the reduction of oil supplies from the Russian Federation should be replaced by alternatives, " said the head of state.

He noted that the relevant issues were discussed already at the end of last year.
