President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has criticized Ukraine's intention to join NATO. In his opinion, thus, a new front is supposedly opening up for Belarus. It is reported by BelTA.

"But the saddest thing is Ukraine. We are opening a new, in the old days, front. We see what they are doing. But not all that our fugitives have run there - there are more and more training camps where they are purposefully training (and not only fugitives) to work on Belarus, as the intelligence services say," Lukashenko said.

He stressed that even Ukrainian border guards are already discovering weapons caches near the border with Belarus.

“If these caches are for events on the territory of Ukraine, then they do not need to be dragged to our border. They would be hidden somewhere else. Clearly, we see signs of indecent actions towards Belarus. A lot has already been said about this," Lukashenko stated.

Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko called the Polish city of Bialystok and the Lithuanian capital Vilnius Belarusian lands.

Lukashenko said that he does not recall the historical truth as a reproach to someone. He believes that the neighbors are "given from God." And Belarusians strive for peace and friendship with neighboring states.
