President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the authorities had to make a serious decision, namely to bring the main units of the Belarusian army to full combat readiness. TUT.by reports about it.
“For the first time in a quarter of a century, a serious decision had to be made, bringing the main units of the Armed Forces to full combat readiness and transferring troops to the western direction,” Lukashenko said.
He noted that an external factor has been added to the internal situation in Belarus - the “stirring” of NATO troops.
"However, what worries me most is that an external factor has been added to this internal situation. We see a serious stirring of NATO troops in the immediate vicinity of our borders on the territory of Poland and Lithuania," Lukashenko added.
According to him, the goal of the opponents is "to distract (attention, - ed.) From the internal situation and strain (create tension, - 112 International) on the external border.
