On the eve of the presidential election, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that his country was in the middle of a hybrid war, BelTA reports.

"There is a hybrid war against Belarus, and we have to wait for terrible things from all sides. Which, by the way, we are doing," Lukashenko said.

According to the President of Belarus, the country's authorities do not know who might be interested in it.

"We do not even know who they are. It is either Americans with NATO or someone from Ukraine, it might be our eastern brothers who ‘love’ us so much - we do not even know," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Lukashenko also noted that many provocateurs had already been identified "only due to the vigilance of citizens."

“The preparation of military-trained reserve at the military training is the process, which takes place constantly at the Armed Forces. The obligated reservists constantly drafted for the training of various durations during a year. Such training takes place in August. It will start on August 11 in the Vitebsk region,” Spokesperson of Belarusian Defense Minister Natalia Gavrusik said.
