According to Lukashenko, the new constitution will be adopted over the next five years.
“The constitution’s question ... It’s not being removed. Here we can definitely answer that in the new five-year plan we will most likely have a new constitution,” he said.
At the same time, Lukashenko noted that the presidential elections to be held in 2020 will be held in accordance with the current constitution of Belarus.
“Here we can clearly say that we will carry out the constitution, as I promised,” the Belarusian president added.
