Ceasefire in Donbas

Self-styled "Luhansk People's Republic" denies reaching the agreement with Ukraine in terms of division of forces in certain areas in Donbas. Rodion Miroshnik, the "republic"'s representative in the Minsk talks group said so as quoted by Interfax news agency.

"Office of the Ukrainian President substitutes the wish for the reality", he said, commenting on the statement of the Ukrainian authority about the division of troops.

He specified that representatives of the "republics" did not make any decision and did not sign any document in this regard.

Miroshnik stated that the representatives of the "republics" will not be making any such decisions within the Minsk trilateral group "until Kyiv aligns all provisions of the decree of the Ukrainian Parliament on the local election".

On September 2, Office of the President of Ukraine reported that four new areas for division of forces were defined, after the session of Minsk talks group.
