Luftwaffe fighter jets to fly in Estonian air space

Eurofighter Typhoon German Luftwaffe fighter jets will perform daily flights over the territory of Estonia during a week. This was reported by the Headquarters of the Estonian Defence Forces.

“The fighter jets will perform low flights over Estonian territory on the 152 meters altitude away from the residential areas,” reads the message.

The Estonian Defense Minister explained that the NATO forces deployment is a “reaction to the behavior of Russia.”

Earlier NATO troops were deployed in Estonia and other Baltic states, as well as in Poland on the basis of the NATO Summit in Warsaw.

As it was reported earlier, Military personnel of the infantry company of the 1st Battalion of 69th Armored Cavalry Regiment (Charlie Company) arrived in Tapa, Estonia, in the beginning of February.
