Lithuania passes Ukraine ammunition for Soviet small arms

Lithuania passed Ukraine almost 1,000,000 live ammunition rounds for the Soviet firearms. Lithuanian Defense Ministry reported this June 12.

According to the military authority, the Lithuanian government decided to pass the ammunition in early February. The price of the passed assets makes 255,500 Euros.

'Passing the assets is a consistent and comprehensive part of Lithuania's support of Ukraine, strengthening its defensive capabilities, providing the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country', said Raimundas Karoblis, Lithuanian Defense Minister.

Earlier, Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office got the additional evidence of Russia's military activity in Donbas. The Office's press service reported that on Tuesday, June 4.

'As the workers of the department, along with the agents of military counterintelligence of the SBU performed investigation actions in the Joint Forces Operation area, they found the shell from Tavolga self-propelled grenade, which is supplied under the order from the Russian Armed Forces', reads the message.
