The candidate to the position of the Chancellor of Germany and one of the leaders of the Left Party of Germany Sahra Wagenknecht supported the statements of the leader of the Free Democratic Party of Germany Christian Lindner about the necessity to change the policy of the relations with Russia. She claimed this at the interview as Spiegel reported.

Wagenknecht thinks that it is necessary to come back to the policy of détente towards Russia.

‘If the Free Democratic Party remembers these foreign policy traditions, it can be hailed’, she claimed.

The leader of the Free Democratic Party Christian Lindner stood for improving the relations with Russia and suggested that issue of the occupation of Crimea by Russia can become temporary for a long time. Lindner claimed that the West should make such offers to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin that will allow him to change the current policy and save face.

According to him, the security and prosperity of Europe depend on the relations with Moscow. Lindner noted that he violates some kind of taboo but he is afraid that the Crimea issue should be treated as the temporary for a long time.

Lindner thinks that the Crimea issue should be separated to reach the progress in other spheres. Lindner noted that the sanctions against Russia should not be kept until the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements and the positive steps should be encouraged by removal of the restrictions step by step.

Fascists always flock together, Ribbentrop Germany, who brought us 2 world wars, hardly paid wardebt for both, and now with Merkel as Fuhrer of Fourth Reich, EU never supported Ukraine or East-Europe! Wants EUr(o)pe to bow to their agenda only. What's changed? Nothing! Bringing in millions of "refugees" in violation of Treaty of Dublin & Schengen, and now orders East-Europe to take them, to bring same chaos as in West-Europe?!
