Yulia Tymoshenko, the head of Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party faction in the Ukrainian Parliament reacted to the offensive statement by President Zolodymyr Zelensky. Previously, the country's leader chose to mock the politician from the opposition camp, when he said that Tymoshenko offered her candidacies to be appointed for high governmental offices - in exchange for support for Servant of the People party in the Parliament.
Tymoshenko left the respective post on Facebook.
"Let me remind you, there's a good old Ukrainian custom. Once in five years, certain Ukrainian presidents seem to think they won a jackpot. And then it all goes according to the scenario... well, you name it. We hope to see you at the office parties... you could bring your piano", she wrote. Tymoshenko clearly referred to Zelensky's indignant performance at Vecherniy Kvartal comedy show, when his character "played" the piano, using an obscene part of the body.
Earlier, on November 19, Zelensky claimed that Tymoshenko offered certain people to be appointed for government offices - in exchange for her political force's support for Servant of the People in the parliament.
