French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and Defense Minister Florence Parly are about to come to Moscow with a working visit. The officials are supposed to come to Russia on Monday for high-level negotiations; the agenda will include the latest developments in Ukraine, Syria, Libya and Iran.
Le Drian said so during the joint TV program by Europe 1, CNEWS and Les Echos media companies.
The minister agrees that there are certain controversies with Russia, but he still believes that rapprochement is possible in terms of fighting terrorism, cooperation in space industry and civilian society development.
Previously, September 8, Russian and French presidents discussed preparations for the upcoming summit in the Normandy format.
