The agreement will come into force on the thirtieth day after the parties get the last written notification through the diplomatic channels that all necessary inner-state demands are fulfilled by both sides.
The agreement on the mutual protection of the classified information was signed on May 22, 2017, in Kyiv. The document provides the legal foundations for the protection of the classified information that can be exchanged between two states within the cooperation.
Particularly, the agreement defines the proper terminology, order of the mutual exchange and handling of the classified information, settlement of disputes, equivalence of the national classification of the limited access to the information, the relevant authorities of the parties responsible for the implementation of the points of the agreements, procedural and security questions and so on.
