Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov denied the information regarding discussion of James Comey’s dismissal from FBI during the meeting with Donald Trump in the Oval Office. This was reported by Voice of America agency.
"We have not addressed this subject at all," Russian information agencies quote Lavrov.
As it was reported earlier by the New York Times, US President Donald Trump told the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak, the resons why he dismissed the FBI director James Comey. Allegedly, Trump got rid of Comey, because he exerted "great pressure" on him due to the investigation of Russia's interference in the US presidential election.
