Lavrov denies Normandy Four Foreign Ministers' meeting

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he does not see the possibility of a meeting of foreign ministers in Normandy format because the sides have not yet agreed on a roadmap to resolving the conflict in the Donbas region. TASS agency reported this.

"The leaders of the Normandy Quartet remain in constant contact... The Ministerial meeting of the Normandy format can be held due to the presence of the roadmap,  but as for now there isn’t any", Lavrov said.

Earlier it was reported that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko discussed the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements by phone with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. This was reported in the press service of the Ukrainian state. The two sides also discussed the preparation of the draft Roadmap of the implementation of the Minsk agreements, according to the results of the Berlin summit of Normandy format. It was agreed to hold the Normandy Four Foreign Ministers meeting at the end of November.
