The national program on the cooperation of Ukraine with NATO was fulfilled by 82% in 2017. Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, the Vice Prime Minister of Eurointegration claimed this at the inter-parliamentarian Ukraine-NATO Council as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

‘We talk about the annual national program of 2017 and it included 375 events. Summarizing, we can talk that about 82% of this program was fulfilled or in other words, 307 events of the planned events were held by different ministries and departments. It does not mean that we refused from other 18%; it means that these tasks switched over to the next year’, Klympush-Tsintsadze said.

She noted that the annual national program for 2018 is already confirmed by the government. The program includes 444 events for the current year and attracts 58 ministries and different central executive bodies to its fulfillment besides the regional tasks. Earlier Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary-General of NATO claimed that the issue of Ukraine joining NATO will depend on the progress of the reforms.
