Among the discussed safety standards for believers are extending hours for visiting churches to participate in the Easter service by a large number of people; consecration of Easter baskets, if possible, in the open territory; maintaining social distance and the use of personal protective equipment by parishioners. Access to the churches will be open to all comers, but law enforcement agencies will monitor the order and compliance with anti-epidemic standards.

"During a difficult epidemiological situation both in the country and in the Kyiv region, in particular the Kyiv-Svyatoshнnsky district, it is important to observe all possible safety measures regarding the health of residents. It is important that believers can fulfill their religious needs. We hope that the majority of the conscious believers will prefer watching the Easter prayer service online, however, realizing that there will be people who want to visit the church personally, we urge you to adhere to all anti-epidemic recommendations - to avoid scores of people, keep the recommended distances, use personal protective equipment. But it's better to prefer remote watching services", chairman of the Kyiv-Sviatoshynsky District Council Dmytro Husyatyn said.

In the territory of the Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district, according to the latest information, 43 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, of which 3 are children, in 12 settlements of the district.
