Vitaliy Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv claimed that he honestly and specified all his property in the declaration according to the legislation. He wrote this at Facebook.

Moreover, he added that all necessary information was submitted to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

'I explain the sensation of the investigation of my not specified estates. Does NABU check my e-declaration? Yes. It is their work to check the information, including  when there is the appeal from the non-profit organizations, MPs and journalists. They should check even when there is no case and do it twice if they are asked to. I gave all necessary information and explanation to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Someone is interested in the estates? They belong to the companies of my brother. How did we earn our wellbeing? The whole world knows it. So, 'friends', let's not search for a black cat in a dark room', he noted.

The Radio Liberty reported on June 8 citing NABU that the investigation was opened against Vitaliy Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv. The Bureau checks the possible law infringement of specifying the wrong data to the e-declaration.

According to the mass media, the Mayor of Kyiv did not specify the estates in Hamburg and Los Angeles.
