President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stressed that Kyiv did not unleash a war with the Russian Federation. Moscow did this. He said this during a briefing following a meeting with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"I emphasize again: Kyiv did not unleash this war, there are no Ukrainian troops on Russian territory. We did not conceive this war, did not start it, it was conceived and started in Moscow, that's why Moscow retains the keys to a peaceful settlement. We want peace in Ukraine most of all, we strictly adhere to our commitments according to Minsk process, we look forward to the help of our partners in the US in Normandy format and look forward to a sober understanding of this situation," the president of Ukraine said.
