The Administration of Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet received information about the proposal of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet in the Vatican. TASS reported that citing Dmitriy Peskov, the press secretary of the president of the Russian Federation.
"Zelensky said that this could be an ideal place for a meeting. Of course, neither the Vatican nor the Russian side officially knows about it yet. We have not yet received any information that such a proposal has been specified and formulated," Peskov said.
He also added that he did not know whether Putin qas ready to meet with the President of Ukraine somewhere other than Moscow.
“So far, we are all assuming that President Putin said that since we are not a party to the conflict, we do not need to talk about Donbas affairs, so we do not need to talk about peace. We need to talk about this in the "Four". Putin himself said that if he is ready to talk about bilateral relations, he will be glad to see President Zelensky in Moscow,” he added.
