The Russian Federation will be initiating an urgent session of the UN Security Council due to the massive missile attack on Syria, which was deployed by the U.S. Navy today. Viktor Ozerov, the head of Russia’s Defense and Security Council, said this as quoted by RIA Novosti.

‘This attack could be viewed as the act of U.S. aggression against a UN member state,’ Ozerov marked.

He added that such actions could annihilate any coordination between the U.S. and Russian military in Syria, since Pentagon ‘did not contact the Russian military leadership before landing the strike’.

Earlier today, the U.S. troops conducted a massive missile attack on the governmental forces of Bashaar al Assad in Syria. Many media have been treating it as the retaliatory action in response to the recent chemical attack in Idlib province.
