Kremlin states that the discussion of Crimea issue with Ukraine is impossible in any format as RIA-News reported citing Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“Any reaction of Kremlin is possible. And actually any discussion of Crimea is possible. It was discussed at different levels repeatedly…There is no difference in which format this issue is raised,” Peskov stated.

Answering the question how Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will act if Zelensky raises the issue of Crimea’s belonging at the personal meeting, Peskov noted that the president “will certainly provide detailed, consistent answers to all proper questions”.

Earlier Zelensky presumed that the issue of a new contract on the transit of Russian gas to Europe through the territory of Ukraine would be discussed at the meeting in Normandy format on December 9, but it is not related to the problem of war in Donbas.

Besides, Ukraine’s president stated that the United States of America could help Ukraine return Crimea back.
