Kremlin announced readiness for any protocol negotiations format between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, according to TASS.

"Protocol aspects are of secondary importance in this case, since it will be the first time that the two presidents will have a chance to meet," he stated.

Beyond that, Peskov drew attention to the fact that "one way or another, they [Putin and Trump] will be participating in the same event [the G20 summit - TASS] taking place in one city, so there will be a chance to meet", according to the agency.

"I believe that Russia will be ready to agree to the format that will suit the United States, and vice versa," he added.

At the same time, Peskov noted that there were no specific developments on the occasion yet.
