Kremlin said that Russian president Vladimir Putin holds many working events and contacts on a daily basis, including those with foreign leaders, however not all of them are announced by the press service. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, Russian Presidential Press Secretary, according to TASS.
"Russian president has various contacts on the international line every day, including those with leaders of foreign states," Peskov informed. "Yet far from all become the subject for the corresponding press service messages, same as the events, meetings and contacts from the president’s working schedule in general, as their number is far more," he explained. "Not all of them are making its way on air or in the information agencies," Peskov commented on "private" conversation between Poroshenko and Putin.
Russian agency Kommersant claims that Russian and Ukrainian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko, continue talking over the phone — the last conversation allegedly took place in the first half of April.
At the same time, Ukraine’s presidential administration called the information published by the agency fake.
"The only conversation in April took place on April 18 in the framework of Normandy format, it was announced in the joint press release of the four press services," administration noted.
