Russia believes that the Minsk agreement must be implemented only by Kyiv and Donbas, while the Russian Federation is just the guarantor of the process and is not a party of the conflict. This was announced by press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, in an interview with British television channel BBC, reports TASS.

"The problem is that we are not a country that should implement the Minsk agreements, we are the country, which should guarantee the implementation of the Minsk agreements, together with France and Germany", he said.

Peskov said that "the Minsk agreement must be implemented by Kyiv and guys in Donbas."

It should be reminded, January 18, the heads of the three states of Noemandy Quartet  discussed by telephone the issue of implementation of the Minsk agreements.
