The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, urged the European Union to pursue more ambitious and strategic goals in the development of relations with Ukraine. This Klimkin said during a speech at the European Forum Wachau in Austria, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
"Democratic and European Ukraine is an integral part of stability in Europe," Klimkin said.
In the context of entry of the visa-free regime into force, the minister noted that visa-free travel is "a moment of freedom and recognition for Ukrainians."
"This sense of belonging to Europe means a lot for us," the minister stressed.
On the margins of the Forum, the Minister held a number of bilateral talks with European counterparts: Sebastian Kurtz, EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn, State Minister of the Federal Land of Bavaria for European Affairs Beate Merck, Secretary of the Scottish Government for Foreign Affairs Fiona Hyslop.
