Klimkin, Kurz discuss humanitarian situation in Donbas

The foreign ministers met on the sidewalks of OSCE ministerial council session in Vienna

The humanitarian situation in the occupied Donbas and Ukraine and Austria’s foreign ministers and OSCE SMM’s role in de-escalation of the conflict. These were the topics for discussion between Pavlo Klimkin and Sebastian Kurz, Ukraine and Austria’s foreign ministers, as they met during the OSCE ministerial council session in Vienna.

Later that day, Kurz tweeted that both topics remain the major priority for Austrian leadership in the OSCE   

Earlier today, Klimkin held a speech at the session in Vienna, focusing on the Russian aggression in Ukraine. He also met with his U.S. counterpart Rex Tillerson and Kurt Volker, the U.S. envoy for Donbas affairs in Ukraine.
