Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin sees no point in lifting sanctions against Russia step by step, which was proposed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, currently holding the presidency of the OSCE, Sebastian Kurz. This Klimkin said in an interview to The Profile Austrian edition, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"I do not see any sense (in the lifting of sanctions - Ed.). Russia insists that it is not a party of the conflict, shows no remorse or willingness to correct what it has done. Other words, we want to sweeten to Russia the things it does not even want to listen about.

We are making a step towards the one who continues to insist on its right to redraw the boundaries of Europe and in its sole discretion to attack its neighbors. We kind of want to encourage the offender to kill this year smaller number of people than in the past. Isn't that a crazy logic? " Klimkin said.
