North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un dropped the demand for U.S. troops withdrawal from South Korea - in exchange for de-nuclearization. Moon Jae-in, the president of South Korea said this as quoted by CNN

'North Korea is ready to give up its nuclear program without demanding the U.S. forces to leave the Korean peninsula', he said at a press conference.

Currently, there are 28,000 U.S. servicemen deployed in South Korea.
