Leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un called on North and South Korea to improve relations, according to North Korean media KCNA.

In his address, Kim Jong-un the two countries shouldn’t always look into their past.

“Improving relations between the North and the South is a great opportunity for the inhabitants of the whole Korean Peninsula to unite,” the text reads.

It’s also noted that now it’s important to “create the atmosphere of national reconciliation and union”. Moreover, the North Korean leader called on solving the crisis in joint efforts, but without mediators.
