Dmytro Hnap, the journalist and the candidate for the presidency, has decided to withdraw from this year’s presidential elections in favor of Anatolii Hrytsenko, the leader of the Civil Position party. The journalist stated this on Facebook.
Hence, Hnap also supported Andrii Sadovyi’s decision to withdraw his candidacy in favor of Hrytsenko.
“As you remember, I previously promised to withdraw my candidacy if the democratic forces selected one candidate. I confirm my promise, I am ready to withdraw my candidature in favor of Hrytsenko as well. The only thing is that the final decision on withdrawal of his candidacy would be made at the congress of the Power of the People party tomorrow, where we also invite Anatoliy Hrytsenko, as the single democratic candidate”, - Hnap said.
As we reported earlier, Andriy Sadovyi, the leader of Ukrainian Union “Self Reliance”, and Anatoliy Hrytsenko, the leader of the Civil Position party, agreed on supporting the last candidate as the only presidential candidate.
The politician pointed out that his goal is to win the parliamentary and local elections.
